Appro Soluble Cutting oils are superior emulsifying cutting oils, compounded by use of fine petroleum base and special emulsifiers. It is easily miscible in water giving a strong and stable emulsion in water up to 600 ppm hardness. It carries biocides and inhibitors offering resistance against bio-degradation, rust and bacterial growth in the emulsion. This oil has excellent cooling and lubricating properties, which provides perfect surface finish and minimises tool wear. Appro Sol XL is a organic lubricant and Appro Sol SS is a semi-synthetic lubricant.

Recommendations

For a stable emulsion to be formed the oil should always be added to water and not vice versa, with continuous stirring. The proportion mentioned may vary slightly depending up on the hardness of the water and the application intended, viz, for harder water or for grinding processes a higher proportion of lubricant is recommended.

The general mix ratio is 1 : 20 dilution in water for heavy jobs and 1 :30 dilution in water for light jobs, upto 400 to 600 ppm of hard water.

Recommended for variety of cutting operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
